and the winner is...
Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11:56AM April Smith!
I did maternity photos for April and Michael when she was expecting her first child, Addison. That was a couple of years ago, even before I moved my studio downstairs to where it is now. (Anyone who doesn't know...It was out in the sunroom, but that didn't last long.)
April... I'll let you choose your prize. Either a) one studio session for your family (maternity pics or newborn session, maybe?), or b) special gift using a picture from your last session (it would be a large mounted print of some sort).
Thank you everyone for entering the drawing. Maybe I'll have another one soon. This was fun! :)
missing her...
Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 12:19AM Our family has sad news from last week. My mother-in-law lost her battle with cancer very unexpectedly on January 5th. Her passing caught us all by surprise and left us completely devastated. She'd mentioned to us in the past that she was afraid her grandchildren wouldn't remember her if she died. I've taken plenty of pictures of her with the grandkids (two are my kids, two are my husband's brothers' kids) and just put a handful of them into a slideshow set to music. This is nothing fancy as most of the photos are just unedited snapshots, some of which I didn't even take. I'm working on memory books for the kids, but wanted to share our Gramma B here with you all. We'll always remember you, Brenda!
a drawing for the new year...
Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 12:06AM Here's the deal... leave a comment for this post. IT MUST BE FOR THIS POST. It doesn't have to be anything long. Just something letting me know you were here. If I don't already have it, you should probably leave me your email address, so I can contact you if you win. On Friday, Jan. 22nd, I will put all of the names into a hat and have someone draw a winner. I'm not telling what the prize is, you'll have to wait and see. I'm going to choose the prize based on the winner. If it's someone who hasn't had photos taken by me, it might be a free baby/child studio session. If I've already taken your photos, it might be a large print of my favorite shot. Who knows? The possibilities are endless! :) So... go ahead and leave a comment right now. Send your friends over, too! Anyone can play!
